Very important NEWS

Please check both the General Rules and the 40 Overs Rules as some Teams were misinterpreting them So for ease we have for clarification purposes and tried to make them easier to understand.

We have recently observed issues regarding behaviour and lack of sportsmanship during our cricket matches in the Local League Cricket. We want to address this important matter concerning the conduct of both players and supporters. While we understand the passion and enthusiasm that come with supporting your team, we must emphasise that bad behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Any supporter demonstrating unacceptable conduct will be considered the responsibility of the team they support.

Our cricket community prides itself on fostering a friendly environment characterised by good behaviour and positivity. The spirit of the game is built on mutual respect and sportsmanship, not just among players, but also among supporters. Everyone steps onto the field with the aim of winning, but it is crucial that we do so with respect towards the opposition and the umpires. We are committed to ensuring that matches are enjoyed by everyone, free from negativity and disruption. Failure to adhere to these standards of behaviour will result in disciplinary action and could lead to further consequences for the teams responsible. Let us all work together to maintain the integrity and joy of the game. Respect, support, and sportsmanship are the values we hold dear, and we expect nothing less from players and supporters alike. In collaboration with Warwickshire County Cricket Club and other leagues in Birmingham, we have decided that any offence committed in Local Leagues will be communicated to all other leagues and vice versa. We are concerned about the toxicity of certain teams causing disruption in the league. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Let's continue to enjoy the game with the spirit it deserves.
