As the 2026 season draws to a close, we would like to thank all clubs, players, officials and supporters for their commitment and participation throughout what has been a fantastic summer of cricket. With only a few league fixtures remaining, we wish every team the very best of luck in their final matches and look forward to an exciting conclusion to the season with the T20 Cup and the Shield Tournament.
Planning for the 2027 season is now underway, and we invite all clubs wishing to participate to complete and submit their league application before the 23rd August 2026 deadline.
Due to the high level of interest from both existing and new clubs, together with the limited number of places available in each division, applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be determined by the date and time that both the completed application form and the full application fee are received by Local League Cricket. Please note that applications will not be considered received or complete until payment has been made in full.
Teams that are able to provide their own home ground for the season will be given priority during the allocation process.
The final deadline for submitting your completed application form and full payment is Sunday 23rd August 2026. However, we strongly encourage clubs to submit their applications as early as possible to maximise their chances of securing a place for the 2027 season.
